North Carolina High School Softball - Jones knocked off by Rosewood

April 24, 2023: Goldsboro, NC 27530

In Monday's non-league contest, the Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), by a margin of 12-3.

With the triumph, Rosewood moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Eagles host North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to play the Rebels in a Carolina 1A contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 13-2. North Duplin won 17-2 in their recent league contest against Union (Rose Hill, NC)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Jones will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Devil Pups come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 4-3 league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
