The Lakota East Thunderhawks softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Middletown Middies to 6 in the Thunderhawks league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lakota East improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Thunderhawks travel to Centerville (Centerville, OH) to encounter the Elks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 25. The Elks come into the test with a record of 8-6. Centerville won 4-3 in their recent league test against Fairmont (Kettering, OH)

The Middies (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Highlanders come into the Greater Miami test with a 18-0 record. In their last test, Oak Hills overcame Colerain (Cincinnati, OH), 14-3, in a league test.
