Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mapletown thwarted by West Greene

The Mapletown Maples softball team (Greensboro, PA), was routed 12-1 in Monday's league test with the host West Greene Pioneers (Waynesburg, PA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers clash with the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 2 test, on Wednesday, April 26. West Greene will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Avella (Avella, PA).

The Maples (5-5) will now prepare for their test against California (Coal Center, PA). The Trojans come into the WPIAL 1A 2 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, California was routed by Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 15-0, in a league test.
