The Triad Knights softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Mascoutah Indians to 8 in the Knights league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Triad improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Knights host East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Flyers come into the game with a record of 0-7. East St. Louis lost 19-0 in their recent non-league game against Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) in a Mississippi Valley game, on Wednesday, April 26. Mascoutah will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 9-5 league win over Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL).
