The Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA) softball routed the host Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), 11-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Knights (10-3) will now prepare for their bout against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars go into the Battlefield bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Courtland was routed by King George (King George, VA), 6-0, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Brooke Point for a Commonwealth bout on Tuesday, April 25. Massaponax will confront a Black Hawks squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 3-10.
