The Comets now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bede for a Three Rivers East challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Newman Central Catholic will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Mendota falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to battle the Comets in a Three Rivers East challenge on Thursday, April 27.
