North Carolina High School Softball - Monroe topped by Parkwood

The Parkwood Wolf Pack softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Monroe Redhawks to 1 in the Wolf Pack league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Parkwood moves its record to 12-8 on the year. The Wolf Pack travel to Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to clash with the Bearcats in a Rocky River 2A/3A game on Wednesday, April 26. The Bearcats come into the game with a record of 9-9. Anson won 20-1 in their recent league game against Monroe (Monroe, NC)

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A game, on Tuesday, April 25. Monroe will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Bearcats come into the test with a 7-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
