Pennsylvania High School Softball - Southmoreland bounces Mt. Pleasant

The Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) softball routed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 10-1 in Monday's league bout.
The Scotties (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Yough (Herminie, PA). The Cougars go into the WPIAL 3A 3 bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Yough toppled Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 3-1, in a league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Derry for a WPIAL 3A 1 bout on Wednesday, April 26. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
