Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they host Aiken for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Strom Thurmond will battle a Fighting Green Hornets squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, Pelion falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to battle the Thoroughbreds in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Thoroughbreds enter the challenge with a record of 9-7. South Aiken won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC)
