Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Menomonie for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28.

With the loss, Prescott falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Amery (Amery, WI) to clash with the Warriors in a Middle Border game on Tuesday, April 25. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 2-4.
