Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 16-2 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they host Uwharrie Charter for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Wheatmore will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Charity Christian (Lawndale, NC) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Charity Christian won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC)
