Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) and the host Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ), saw Bloomfield's baseball squad beat Barringer by a margin of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Bengals play the Seton Hall Prep Pirates (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 26. Bloomfield will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 11-2 record after their 8-1 league win over Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ).

The Blue Bears now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a non-league battle on Friday, April 26. Barringer will play a Cougars squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.
