The Sayre Spartans baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Bryan Station Defenders to 4 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 20-4 record. In their last match, Ballard edged DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Defenders (6-8) will now prepare for their match against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 14-11 record.
