In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Elizabeth Minutemen baseball team scored a tight 13-12 victory over the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans.
The Minutemen (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Oratory Prep was edged by Union (Union, NJ), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their game against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks go into the GMC - Blue game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, North Plainfield was edged by St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ), 8-3, in a league game.
