The Galion Tigers crushed the visiting Pleasant Spartans baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellevue for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. Galion will face a Redmen team coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Wauseon (Wauseon, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 3-7.
Next, the Spartans face the Mohawk Warriors (Sycamore, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 29. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 10-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Margaretta (Castalia, OH).
