In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Highland Cougars baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Marion County Mustangs.

The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their game against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, South Shelby was overwhelmed by Bevier (Bevier, MO), 3-1, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Brashear (Brashear, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 1 District 13 game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Brashear was overwhelmed by Higbee (Higbee, MO), 5-4, in a non-league game.
