The South Columbus Stallions baseball team (Tabor City, NC), was overwhelmed 15-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC)

The Buccaneers now hold a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A outing on Friday, April 26. Laney will face a Trojans team coming off a 3-3 league Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 10-10.

Next, the Stallions face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, April 30. South Columbus will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Wolfpack enter the outing with a 17-1 record after their 10-3 league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
