The Pope John XXIII baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Montville Mustangs to 10 in the league victory on Wednesday.
The (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Morris Knolls by Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ). The Mountaineers go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Bernards tipped Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ), 6-3, in a non-league match.
