The St. Mark's Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Newark Charter School Patriots to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Caravel (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Sanford (Hockessin, DE). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Sanford ran past Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE), 5-1, in a league match.
