North Carolina High School Soccer - Holmes Currituck County

April 24, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), saw Currituck County's soccer squad knock off Holmes by a margin of 5-2.

The Knights now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pasquotank County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Monday, April 29. Currituck County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Holmes drops to 8-9 on the season. The Aces host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to meet the Colts in a non-league test on Friday, April 26. The Colts come into the test with a record of 1-11. Albemarle School lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC)
