North Carolina High School Soccer - West Bladen overwhelmed by North Brunswick

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), saw North Brunswick's soccer squad triumph over West Bladen by a margin of 8-1.

The Scorpions now sport a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Topsail for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Friday, April 26. North Brunswick will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 4-0 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, West Bladen drops to 2-8 on the season. The Knights travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, April 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 11-2. East Bladen won 4-0 in their recent league test against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC)
