Next, the Rams confront the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, April 25. Purnell Swett will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 9-0 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).

The Raiders now possess a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lee County for a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge on Friday, April 26. Richmond will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-4.
