Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA), 6-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gloucester upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Fishermen host Beverly (Beverly, MA) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 27. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Chieftains now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29.
