Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 13-5 in a league battle.

The Warriors now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Meridian for a non-league battle on Friday, April 26. Western Albemarle will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-1.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 17-5 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
