Aberdeen Bobcats (Aberdeen, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rochester Warriors (Rochester, WA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tumwater for a 2A Evergreen challenge on Friday, April 26. Aberdeen will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 24-2 league win over Shelton (Shelton, WA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Rochester falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host WF West (Chehalis, WA) to face the Bearcats in a 2A Evergreen challenge on Friday, April 26. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. WF West won 16-13 in their recent league challenge against Centralia (Centralia, WA)
