The Union County Patriots softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Anderson County Mavericks to 3 in the Patriots league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Union County moves its record to 21-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Clinton (Clinton, TN) to clash with the Dragons in a 3A District 4 game on Thursday, April 25. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 12-12. Clinton won 3-0 in their recent league game against Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN)

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) in a 3A District 4 game, on Thursday, April 25. Anderson County will attempt to move on its 6-18 season record. The Highlanders come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 18-0 league loss to Union County (Maynardville, TN).
