Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pascack Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. Pascack Valley will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Broncos record now stands at 4-6.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Bergenfield will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.
