Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now sport a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlotte Latin for a NCISAA Charlotte challenge on Thursday, April 25. Charlotte Country Day School will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Forest Hills falls to 1-19 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to face the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-15. Monroe lost 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
