Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to High Point for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Friendly falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) to face the Lions in a Prince George's County 3A/2A challenge on Friday, April 26. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. Largo won 13-9 in their recent league challenge against Central (Capitol Heights, MD)
