The Seneca Fighting Irish softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Coal City Coalers to 0 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Coalers clash with the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight game, on Thursday, April 25. Coal City will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 5-8 record after their 18-3 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
