In Wednesday's league contest, the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME), by a margin of 12-5.

With the triumph, Cony moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Rams travel to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, April 26. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Lincoln Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league contest against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)

In their next game, the Mariners play the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a Class B North contest, on Saturday, April 27. Oceanside will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 8-3 league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME).
