Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Redmond Mustangs (Redmond, WA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Issaquah for a 4A KingCo challenge on Friday, April 26. Eastlake will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 16-6 league loss to Skyline (Sammamish, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Redmond falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bothell (Bothell, WA) to battle the Cougars in a 4A KingCo challenge on Friday, April 26. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 15-2. Bothell lost 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA)
