The Fremd Vikings routed the visiting Hoffman Estates Hawks softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Vikings (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs go into the Mid-Suburban East battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Rolling Meadows notched a victory over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 16-5, in a league battle.

The Hawks now possess a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban East battle on Friday, April 26. Hoffman Estates will confront a Bison squad coming off a 7-5 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Bison record now stands at 6-7.
