The Radford Bobcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Galax Maroon Tide to 10 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Radford moves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to play the Cougars in a Three Rivers game on Thursday, April 25. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 9-4. Patrick County lost 10-3 in their recent league game against Glenvar (Salem, VA)

In their next game, the Maroon Tide play the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Thursday, April 25. Galax will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 21-7 league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA).
