The Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) softball nipped the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), 1-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Crusaders (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Sparta was edged by Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ), 3-0, in a league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Mary Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 25. Hanover Park will confront a Lions squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Franklin (Somerset, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
