The St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans routed the host J.P. Stevens Hawks softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Old Bridge topped South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 7-1, in a league battle.
The Hawks now sport a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Metuchen for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 25. J.P. Stevens will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
