The Kennedy Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Western Christian Pioneers to 5 in the Trojans league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Kennedy moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Salem Academy (Salem, OR) to play the Crusaders in a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 game on Monday, April 29. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 4-0.

In their next game, the Pioneers play the Colton Vikings (Colton, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 game, on Monday, April 29. Western Christian will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 7-11 record after their 17-7 league win over Country Christian (Molalla, OR).
