THE FALCONS PLAYED POOR DEFENSE COMITTING 3 ERRORS AND ONLY COULD MUSTER 5 HITS IN THE GAME. SENIOR PITCHER KATHRYN McGINTY THREW 4 INNINGS ALLOWING NO EARNED RUNS BUT SHE SUFFERED HER 1ST LOSS OF THE SEASON DROPPING HER SEASON RECORD TO 7-1. THE FALONS FALL TO 15-4-2 ON THE SEASON WITH THE LOSS WHILE THE MAVERICKS IMPROVED TO 16-7 WITH THE WIN. TORREY PINES WILL HOST 1ST PLACE CARLSBAD NEXT IN A MUST WIN COASTAL NORTH COUNTY LEAGUE GAME FOR THE FALCONS IF THEY PLAN TO WIN THEIR 4TH LEAGUE TITLE IN THE PAST 5 SEASONS.
