The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers the visiting Lacey Township Lions softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats go into the Shore - B South battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Pinelands Regional nudged Liberty (Jackson, NJ), 8-4, in a league battle.

The Lions now sport a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Township for a Shore - B South battle on Friday, April 26. Lacey Township will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 2-8.
