Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH) and the visiting River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), witnessed Meigs's softball squad tip River Valley by a count of 4-1.

The Marauders now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Vinton County for a Tri-Valley - Ohio match on Friday, April 26. Meigs will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Washington (Washington Court House, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, River Valley moves to 4-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Alexander (Albany, OH) to meet the Spartans in a Tri-Valley - Ohio match on Thursday, April 25. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 3-9. Alexander won 22-8 in their recent league match against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH)
