The Northmont Thunderbolts softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Springboro Panthers to 12 in the Thunderbolts league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Northmont moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Troy (Troy, OH) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, April 25. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 12-4. Troy won 15-2 in their recent non-league game against Stebbins (Riverside, OH)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Centerville Elks (Centerville, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio game, on Friday, April 26. Springboro will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Elks come into the game with a 14-4 record after their 6-5 league loss to Fairmont (Kettering, OH).
