The Palisades Pumas routed the host South Point Red Raiders softball squad by a final score of 21-13 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Pumas (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the So Meck 4A battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Ardrey Kell was routed by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 18-1, in a non-league battle.

The Red Raiders now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A battle on Friday, April 26. South Point will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 15-0.
