The Sissonville Indians softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks to 7 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Sissonville moves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Indians host Hoover (Clendenin, WV) to play the Huskies in a Cardinal game on Thursday, April 25. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 19-2. Hoover won 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Roane County (Spencer, WV)

In their next game, the Big Blacks play the Peebles Indians (Peebles, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 27. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH).
