Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bradford for a Western Ohio Athletic challenge on Thursday, April 25. Tri-Village will battle a Railroaders squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Railroaders record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Tri-County North falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Centerville (Centerville, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Centerville won 12-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Cowan (Muncie, IN)
