The Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) baseball the visiting Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH), 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Royalton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. Mentor will clash with a Bears team coming off a 6-3 league win over Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Brunswick drops to 4-6 on the year. The Blue devils host Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH) to clash with the Bees in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. The Bees go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Brecksville-Broadview Heights lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against North Royalton (North Royalton, OH)
