Virginia High School Baseball - Courtland defeats Spotsylvania

The Courtland Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Spotsylvania Knights to 4 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.
The Cougars now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Riverbend for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Courtland will clash with a Bears team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Bears record now stands at 11-4.
With the defeat, Spotsylvania drops to 9-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Generals go into the test with a record of 8-2. Dinwiddie won 11-0 in their recent league test against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)
