Arkansas High School Baseball - Flippin holds off Salem

In Thursday's league game, the visiting Flippin Bobcats baseball team scored a close 6-2 victory over the Salem Greyhounds.

The Bobcats (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Cotter (Cotter, AR). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Cotter held off Decatur (Decatur, AR), 17-0, in a league game.

Next, the Greyhounds face the Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) in a 3A Region 2 game, on Friday, April 25. Salem will attempt to improve on its 11-14 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 13-9 record after their 16-1 league win over Bergman (Bergman, AR).
