The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) and the host Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), saw White River Valley's baseball team gain a win over Green Mountain by a tally of 11-1.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Rebels enter the SVL C battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Leland & Gray prevailed over Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT), 13-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chieftains face the West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) in a SVL D battle, on Friday, April 25. Green Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Horde enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 11-6 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, VT).
