In Thursday's league bout, the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs (Jacksonville, NC), by a tally of 10-0.
Next up, the Rampants encounter the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A bout, on Tuesday, April 29. J.H. Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 19-3 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 15-6 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Farmville Central (Farmville, NC).
The Monarchs (3-18) will now prepare for their bout against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the Big East 3A/4A bout with a 4-14 record. In their last bout, Havelock was overwhelmed by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 12-0, in a non-league bout.
