In Thursday's non-league bout, the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) baseball squad edged the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA), by a tally of 5-4.
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge bout, on Friday, April 25. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars enter the River Ridge bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Pulaski County edged Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 7-4, in a league bout.
